Women 
                wear the Dohru. It is draped like a sarong with pleats at the 
                back and secured at the shoulders with pins called 'Bumni'. The 
                ground is 2/2 twill woven in natural colours using locally available 
                wool or merino wool while patterned designs are woven on both 
                the borders.
              Some dohrus are also used as quilts. They are longer in length 
                and are woven in coarser wool spun into thick cordage. Blankets 
                of Himachal Pradesh are generally made from local wool in checks 
                and stripes. Some blankets are woven on frame loom whereas for 
                local market it is woven on pitloom in two pieces of half width 
                and are later joined from the center with a fine and elaborate 
                stitching.
